5 steps to a Healthy Tan

When I wish for a golden color without damaging sunrays, I use Kerstin Florian’s new Sunless Tan (it won a top beauty award last month from SELF MAGAZINE).

During summertime I apply Sunless Tan more frequently, about 2-3 days a week depending on how deep I want the tan to be.  This is how I get a natural-looking tan with a sun-kissed glow:

  1. Exfoliate with Kerstin Florian Chamomile Body Scrub (make sure to avoid any oil-based scrub).
  2. Pat skin dry and Apply Chamomile Body Lotion to dry areas, if any (cuticles, soles of feet, elbows etc.).
  3. Apply sunless tanner with vinyl gloves within 5 minutes after getting out of the shower to get the most even application.
  4. Remove vinyl gloves; with back of hands to back of hands, lightly apply a small amount of sunless tanner.
  5. Finish by rubbing a dry washcloth onto thicker-skinned areas such as ankles, wrists, cuticles, elbows, and knees to avoid darker color that will give away a “fake” tan, and then wash palms of hands really well.

Tip: For an everyday hint of color, mix the sunless tanner with your moisturizers on a daily basis. It works great with Kerstin Florian Rejuvenating 24-hour Moisture Crème for face and Kerstin Florian Chamomile Body Lotion for body.
