On my recent trip to Stockholm I met up with my dear friends Kerstin and Charlene Florian. While catching up on lots of things I also learned exciting details about the launch of the brand new Kerstin Florian Correcting Body Care system.

We visited at Kerstin’s beautiful summer home located outside Stockholm in the breathtaking Swedish Archipelago.

Kerstin is an amazing cook and we enjoyed a healthy spa lunch on the porch overlooking the gorgeous views of the Baltic Sea. One of the dishes she had prepared was an amazing plate of quinoa, lightly steamed brussels sprouts, zucchini, spinach and home grown tomatoes served with fresh papaya and her home made health bread. Simply delicious!

Kerstin’s daughter Charlene (CCO, Chief Creative Officer at Kerstin Florian) is a raw foodie and if you ask what raw food has to do with skincare her response is everything! The principles of development are the same – harmony and quality of ingredients are essential. At Kerstin Florian the philosophy is to externally promote nourishing and effective skincare products and internally promote nutrition as a way to positively impact the skin.

It has taken over two years to create and develop the new four-product Correcting Body Care line and the inspiration comes from their very successful Correcting Skincare line. The solution-focused formulas address brightening, exfoliation, slimming, firming and hydration based on plant actives and technology. And guaranteed, you will not find any black listed ingredients in these products!

The Florian’s home is surrounded by nature and after lunch Kerstin took us on a walk in the forest. We picked blueberries, wild strawberries and even found a few mushrooms! One trail lead us down to one of Kerstin’s favorite places, a big lake called Storsjön where we immediately kicked off our shoes, sat down to meditate and just relaxed for a while. Kerstin goes out in the nature to recharge and get inspired and she always emphasize the importance of authenticity and feeling the energy in everything around us. The energy goes into creating beautiful and result oriented  products that address all senses and give a blissful, uplifting experience every time you use them.

We had the best time together; Kerstin and Charlene are a true inspiration with their spa living lifestyle and outlook on life.
