Sharing experiences that involve skin health, ageless beauty and total well-being.
I like to give my skin extra TLC after the holiday season. My skin always indicates when too much good food, drinks and lack of sleep been present. To quickly get my skin back to its normal healthy state I follow a 5-step lifestyle routine for a couple of weeks and it always get my skin healthy again.
I love how a series of Intraceuticals Oxygen Infusions make my skin look and feel. This year I am extra excited when just starting up my course series of 6 Oxygen infusions as Intraceuticals are just introducing four brand new infusions with matching boosters for the daily home program. Here is a sneak peak of the all infusions now available:
This red carpet treatment is performed the same way as usual; the active infusion chosen is infused with a 90 % pure, antiseptic, hyperbaric oxygen in very specific pathways, and Hollywood A-listers keep giving this treatment credit for their glowing skin.
The treatment is a relaxing experience and my clients often fall a sleep while the Oxygen Infusion chosen deliver instant results.
Eating healthy food boost skin’s radiance. Planning all my daily meals and snacks ahead of time and eating regularly throughout the day makes healthful eating easy.
First I cut out the sugar in my diet avoid processed foods and especially soda, juice and alcohol, which are filled with sugar that break down the collagen in the skin, making it dull and cause wrinkles.
I include lots of vegetables, fruits and whole grains to get a glowing skin and add healthy fats, especially omega 3 fatty acids, that have powerful anti-inflammatory effects and improves skin’s moistness, texture, suppleness and smoothness.
I also make sure to get enough of lean proteins in my diet. Ongoing lack of protein is first notable in the face, as the features become soft looking. The sharp definition, contoured cheekbones and that great jaw line all becomes blurred. When the supply of protein is depleted, the body is then forced to feed upon itself. This causes both tissue and muscle to breakdown. Protein cannot be stored in the body. Because it is essential for cellular repair, the days that we don’t eat enough protein are the days that we are accelerating aging.
Finally I remember to hydrate properly throughout the day. A dehydrated body provokes the development of aging, inflammatory compounds, so drinking water is key for a radiant soft and supple complexion!

When I am overly stressed it lead to skin breakouts and deeper expression lines, and when these signs show up it indicates my lifestyle need to be addressed..!
There are just so many hours in a day and my best way to manage stress is to simply plan ahead, write things down making a daily schedule and prioritize me-time (taking good care of self is the most important step in any anti-aging skin care program).
Regularly catching only a few hours of sleep hinders metabolism and hormone production and cause premature aging. One of the first places lack up sleep shows up is on the face, with dark circles and bags under the eyes, and sagging skin. At least eight hours of sleep is needed to look healthy and rested; therefore I make sure to schedule my sleep as well!
I also love to run or practice yoga to de-stress; one reason being both makes me breathe properly. Taking deep cleansing breaths brings me right back in the moment and prevents stressful thoughts and helps me focus so much better. Meditation does wonders too; as little as 5 minutes in the morning makes the biggest difference in how the day will play out for me.
Then I am ready to meet the world with a smiley, happy face.:-D

Exercise is an important part of my anti-aging skin care program. It’s a fact that living a sedentary life contributes to aging skin, because exercise helps to tone your muscles and get your blood flowing.
Exercise increases circulation and gives the skin (largest organ in the body) an instant healthy and radiant glow. Cardiovascular activity stimulates the lymphatic system (which is our body’s garbage disposal) which get rid of toxins, water retention and swelling.
Studies have indicated that exercise benefits the skin in much the same way it improves bone and muscle quality. Without regular activity, bones become fragile and muscles atrophy. When the skin of those who exercise regularly is examined under a microscope, the impact of their high fitness levels is clearly apparent. A fit skin is thicker and has more and healthier collagen (the fibers that give the skin its strength and flexibility).
Exercise in moderation of almost any kind has a powerful, positive, and anti-inflammatory effect on all our cells. In addition to the physical benefits of exercise, the benefits of a regular exercise program will show on your face. As always, having a bright smile and lots of energy will help to look and feel younger at any age.

A 5-10 day mineral bath kur (series of treatments) detoxify the body and improve skin health instantly.
I am in love with Kerstin Florian’s new Mineral Wellness Soak, containing concentrated, powerful South African salts. One of Earth’s most pristine natural treasures, these hand-harvested mineral crystals elevate the bathing experience into a purifying, remineralizing, muscle relieving wellness treatment. Contains a perfect, rare balance of 60 essential minerals and trace elements to deeply nourish, and rebalance the body.
This product is brand new, I just got it up on the shelves, and it is already a winner. The Mineral Wellness Soak has been awarded The Best “Spa Bath Salts” by New Beauty Magazine in the 3rd annual Beauty Choice Awards, winter 2013 edition.
This powerful mineral bath has no scent and doesn’t bubble so I like to add a little aromatherapy; lavender essential oil can go a long way for relaxation. Believe it or not, your skin will thank you!
